Book Discussion: The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching

This fall, we will be discussing The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching by Isis Artze-Vega, Flower Darby, Bryan Dewsbury, and Mays Imad. This book is available now as a free ebook to all instructors at this link: https://seagull.wwnorton.com/equityguide

It can also be purchased in paperback (information is also available on the book’s website).

There will be opportunities for synchronous (via zoom) and asynchronous discussion opportunities for ACCESS members.

This event is for the second  synchronous zoom discussions: Unit 3--Welcome and Support Students 

Discussion Questions: 

• Connect: What practices/strategies  from Unit 3 are you currently doing?
• Takeaways: What are 3 “big ideas” you took away from Unit 3?
• Action Plan: What are 1-2 things you want to start doing, based on what you read in Unit 3?
